Maintenance Guidelines

Fiber Protector Solution, applied either before installation or immediately after installation, will help the carpet in the following ways:
1- It will make everyday vacuuming easier so dry, course soil particulate, the leading cause of wear, will be more effective.
2- It will help reduce wear from normal everyday traffic.
3- It will make cleaning more effective by allowing soil to release better.
4- It will help reduce permanent staining.

Routine vacuuming helps keep the carpet fresh. In heavily trafficked areas, vacuum once or twice weekly. For spaces with medium traffic, vacuum three or four times per month. In lightly used areas, vacuum one or two times per week. Wool yarns often shed fibers for extended periods, so expect balls of fluff to appear on the carpet surface and in the vacuum cleaner bag. When tufts occasionally sprout above the rest of the carpet pile, as they characteristically do in some weaves, cut them flush with the surface.

Ask your family and guests to avoid wearing shoes on the rug to avoid tracking in dirt from outside

DO NOT USE A VACUUM WITH A BEATER BAR BRUSH. USE ONLY A SUCTION VACUUM.

Spot Cleaning

If an area rug becomes spotted or stained, work quickly. When possible, scoop up solids and blot liquids immediately after a spill occurs. Absorb as much liquid as possible with a white cloth or paper towel without scrubbing the area to prevent matting or fuzzing. Excessive agitation and heat should be avoided. Une neutral, colorrless and bleach free soaps or detergents and dry the area quickly. Most houshold chemicals will damange fibers, please refrain from using them. Do not walk on cleaned area until it is completely dry. Different fibers and rug constructions respond differently to cleaning.

CALLING PROFFESSIONAL CLEANER WHO IS CERTIFIED IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
